Recurring tasks
Repeat tasks monthly or yearly so routine work reappears automatically. A Premium feature.
Some tasks come back on a schedule — rent, reviews, renewals, birthdays. Recurrence lets a task reappear automatically instead of you recreating it every time.
Recurrence is a Premium feature. See plans & pricing.
How it works
- Give the task a due date — recurrence needs one.
- Set it to repeat monthly or yearly.
- When you complete the task, Clarity.Do schedules the next occurrence for you.
A recurrence badge appears on the task so you can tell at a glance that it repeats.
Monthly and yearly
- Monthly — repeats on the same day each month (for example, the 1st).
- Yearly — repeats on the same day and month each year (for example, April 15).
Recurrence is intentionally simple: a clear monthly or yearly cadence rather than complex custom rules. For one-off shifts, just reschedule the task instead.
Completing a recurring task
Completing a recurring task does two things: it records the completion in your history, and it creates the next occurrence with the next due date. Your routine stays on track without any extra effort.
