Delete Your Account

You have the right to request permanent deletion of your Clarity.Do account and associated data at any time. This page explains how to do so, what will be deleted, and what is retained for legal and compliance reasons.
1. How to Request Deletion
To request permanent deletion of your Clarity.Do account, send an email to support@m26.clarity.do with the subject line "Account deletion request."
Please include the following in your message:
- Your Clarity.Do username.
- The email address associated with your account, if you have provided one.
- Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent and cannot be reversed.
We will verify your identity before processing the request. Verification may involve asking about details only the account holder would know, such as the approximate account creation date, recent activity, or payment records (if applicable).
2. What Will Be Deleted
When your account deletion is processed, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your user account and login credentials.
- All tasks, subtasks, and task descriptions.
- Task completion history.
- Recurrence configurations.
- User preferences and settings.
- Active device sessions.
- Daily digest email schedules and associated email addresses.
- Calendar feed tokens.
- Any other personal content you have created within the Service.
3. What Is Retained
For legal, tax, and security compliance, we retain the following in anonymized or aggregated form, with no link to your personal identity:

4. Cancel Active Subscriptions First
If you have an active Pro or Premium subscription, please cancel it before requesting account deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel store-managed subscriptions, and you may continue to be billed.
- Apple App Store (iOS and Mac App Store): Open the App Store, tap your profile, select Subscriptions, locate Clarity.Do, and cancel.
- Google Play Store (Android): Open the Play Store, tap your profile, select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, locate Clarity.Do, and cancel.
- Microsoft Store (Windows): Open the Microsoft Store, select your profile, go to Subscriptions, locate Clarity.Do, and cancel.
- Web (clarity.do): Sign in, open account settings, and cancel your subscription from the billing section.
Canceled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time on renewal periods.
5. If You Cannot Access Your Account
If you have lost access to your account (for example, you have forgotten your password or no longer have access to your registered devices), email support@m26.clarity.do from any address. We will work with you to verify ownership through information only the account holder would reasonably know.
6. Response Time
Most account deletion requests are processed within a few business days of identity verification. In all cases, we will complete the deletion within 30 days of a verified request, as required by applicable data protection laws including the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.
After deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email to the address associated with the request.
7. Minors and Parental Requests
If you are a parent or legal guardian and wish to request deletion of an account belonging to a minor, please email privacy@m26.clarity.do with proof of your relationship to the minor and any available account information. We will prioritize these requests.
